The Ever-Popular Quiz

Quiz logo

One of the most popular events at Chudfest is the Quiz. It’s been on the programme every year since we started – and for the first three years, the number of folk taking part grew each year. Let’s see if we can keep that trend going in 2014.

Once again, the quizmaster will be Michael ‘The Teach’ McCormick and back by popular request, Steve ‘Music Master’ Cox will be presenting some of his special music rounds. And for anyone who remembers the moment last year when Kate had to hold up a torch so Steve could see the keyboard – don’t worry, we’ve got better lighting arranged this year!

Community Church Service

Teignbridge-20130705-00173

The Community Church Service is a summer informal service of celebration that has been held in Chudleigh for many years. Originally tied in with the Carnival, but now taking place on the first Sunday of Chudfest, the service is organised by members of the Baptist and Parish Church congregations. With leaders and musicians from both churches, we seek to give thanks to God for our community of Chudleigh, celebrate all that is good about our town and to pray for the needs of those around us and the wider world.

Everyone is welcome to join us in the Marquee and refreshments are usually served at the end.
